Divine idol of Brass Bhairava, also known as Maha Kala Bhairava, a revered deity within Shaivism and Hinduism. Bhairava, derived from the Sanskrit word "frightful," embodies the fierce aspect of Shiva, associated with the cosmic forces of annihilation and transformation.

In Vajrayana Buddhism, Bhairava takes on the form of a fierce emanation of the bodhisattva Mañjuśrī, embodying wisdom and compassion in their most potent and uncompromising aspects.
