Introducing the Antique Finished Ardhnareshwar Mukhlingam: a rare and timeless masterpiece merging spirituality with artistry, curated for discerning collectors and interior designers seeking to infuse their living spaces with a touch of divine elegance.

The Ardhanarishvara idol embodies the inseparable union of male and female principles, showcasing the unity of opposites in the universe. One side portrays the male aspect, Purusha, representing the passive force, while the other side depicts the female aspect, Prakriti, symbolizing the active force. Despite their inherent differences, they are perpetually drawn to merge, though separated by a central axis. This divine union, akin to Shiva (Purusha) and Shakti (Prakriti), is the creative force behind the cosmos, as echoed in the symbolic fusion of Shiva's Linga and Devi's Yoni. Celebrated in ancient texts like the Mahabharata, the Ardhanarishvara also embodies the elemental aspect of Kama, or Lust, which catalyzes creation.

The male half wears a jata-mukuta (a headdress formed of piled, matted hair) on his head, adorned with a crescent moon. The right ear wears a nakra-kundalasarpa-kundala ("serpent-earring") . The male eye is depicted smaller than the female one and a half-moustache is also seen. A half third eye (trinetra) is prescribed on the male side of the forehead in the canons; a full eye is also be depicted in middle of forehead separated by both the sides or a half eye may be shown above or below Parvati's round dot

The female half has well-combed knotted hair .The left ear wears a valika-kundala (a type of earring). A tilak adorns her forehead, matching Shiva's third eye.
